In addition to serving as President & CEO of the Clinical Research Institute, Dr. Preskorn is also Professor for the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Kansas School of Medicine - Wichita.

 

Dr. Preskorn has conducted preclinical pharmacology studies for over 10 years and has served as the principal investigator for over 250 formal clinical trials covering all phases of human studies.  These include drug development studies of all of the marketed antidepressants in the United States during the last 25 years.

 

An international lecturer and author of over 400 scientific and professional articles, Dr. Preskorn has received continuous grant funding since 1978, allowing him to conduct research primarily in the areas of psychopharmacology, affective and anxiety disorders, and neuroscience.
